Rockshox reverb 1x remote

Reverb 1x Remote – don’t like your current remote? Looks like there is about to be another option.

Although we understand that the new Remote will be available as an aftermarket upgrade at £90 we also understand that the Reverb 1x Remote will now come as standard on all 3rd generation Rockshox Reverbs. The remote paddle looks a lot like the SRAM Eagle shifter and that’s no bad thing.

Product highlights include:

  • Bleed kit and a matchmaker mount included.
  • Return speed adjuster (as per the previous remote).
  • 21g weight penalty over the old remote.

We are expecting that the revised remote will be a hit with consumers, it certainly looks pretty, although we have never had a problem with the old remote. The additional good news is that even if you don’t like the new remote you can still buy the old one but they will be cheaper going forward, good times.

Here’s the blurb from the SRAM website.

The brand-new Reverb remote control combines the first-class ergonomics of SRAM’s gear shift design with a low-leverage hydraulic control to the world’s finest remote control for lowering seatposts. Thanks to the outstanding ergonomics and ease of operation, drivers of every skill level can use their reverb seatposts faster, easier and more often. They benefit from a better driving control at every point on the trail. In addition, the new Bleeding Edge ™ connection of the Reverb 1x remote control ensures that regular maintenance works as smoothly as the remote itself for optimum performance.
