MRP are probably better know for their drivetrain components but they have been manufacturing some very nice suspension components for a while now.

Their latest offerring is the MRP Ribbon Fork and we can’t wait to get our hands on a set as they have some cool features listed. The fork is aimed at the trail/enduro/all mountain end of the market and whilst it isn’t always clear what those categories mean anymore they seem to be going head to head with the Rockshox Pike, Fox 36 and DVO Diamond.

One thing Solo Air Pike owners like to adjust is the number of tokens they are running in their fork to get the feel that they want so it’s great to see that the Ribbon comes fitted with the MRP Ramp Control Cartridge, which allows adjustments to be made on the trail without opening up the air chamber. Another big plus in our book is the long 200 hour intervals between damper services.
